1. Assumption of Risk

Electric motocross and off-road tours involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Uneven terrain, volcanic rocks, and unpredictable weather conditions.

• Potential collisions, falls, or equipment malfunctions.

• Exposure to natural elements (extreme cold, wind, rain, or ash).

By participating, you acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for your safety.

2. Health & Fitness Requirements

• Riders must be in good physical condition to operate an electric motocross bike.

• Participants with pre-existing medical conditions (e.g., heart problems, mobility issues) must inform us before booking.

• We reserve the right to refuse service if a participant’s health poses a safety risk.

3. Safety Gear & Compliance

• Helmets and protective gear must be worn at all times during the tour.

• Failure to follow guide instructions may result in removal from the tour without a refund.

• Alcohol or drug use before/during the tour is strictly prohibited.

4. Weather & Tour Modifications

• Icelandic weather is highly unpredictable. Tours may be rescheduled, altered, or canceled due to unsafe conditions (e.g., storms, volcanic activity).

• If we cancel, you will receive a full refund or alternative booking.

• No refunds for no-shows or late arrivals.

5. Liability Waiver

• Iceland Volcano Ride is not liable for:

  • Personal injury or accidents caused by rider negligence.

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

  • Unforeseen natural events (e.g., eruptions, landslides).

• All participants must sign a liability waiver before the tour.

6. Environmental Responsibility

• Our tours operate in ecologically sensitive areas.

• Littering, off-trail riding, or disturbing wildlife is strictly prohibited.

• Violations may result in fines and immediate tour termination.

7. Booking & Payment

• A deposit or full payment is required to secure a booking.

• Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit payment.

8. Photography & Media

• We may take photos/videos during tours for promotional use.

• If you prefer not to be featured, notify us in writing before the tour.

9. Equipment Damage

• Riders are responsible for any deliberate or negligent damage to bikes/gear.

• A security deposit may be required for high-risk tours.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

• All disputes are subject to Icelandic law and will be resolved in Icelandic courts.
